So the other day I was on facebook and I got this request from a complete random person and so I was like “Hey who’s this? Do I know you?” and then I got the reply…
“No, we haven’t met! I saw you on the Alex Jeffreys, Instant Profit Seminar video, and I thought what a brilliant young Aussie – this is someone who is going to be big, someone who I could learn a lot from. Sorry if that sounds pushy, but it is a great opportunity to learn from someone who has learnt so much from Alex. Enjoy your success.” – Signed Robyn Campbell.
I was totally blown away! And of course I added her as a friend…
You see 2 weeks ago I went to Alex Jeffreys Instant Profit Seminar in London (read about it here if you haven’t already) and it’s how I got in to this whole exciting mess. So Robyn has obviously watched Alex’s video, spotted me and somehow found how to contact me! AMAZING!
Robyn right now I am your BIGGEST fan! Your message made me feel so good about what I’m doing here and the changes I’ve already made in my life! Thanks for contacting me and it’s great to know that I have your support and I really hope that I can help share with you what I learn from my new mentors! So I dedicate my post to you today…

DOWN to BUSINESS: So since leaving the UK I’ve got down to the nitty gritty and made the following enhancements to my site and I will explain what these do:
- Installed Google Analytics – This free powerful tool from Google shows you how people find your site, navigate through it and how they become customers. It is an excellent tool that provides reports that show where visitors come from, pages they enter your site through, what they do on your site, where they leave the site. Almost scary! But armed with this information you can effectively optimize your visitors experience by tailoring information to their needs based on what they were looking for.
For those selling products you can track where the sales come from, how many sales are completed or alternatively where they sales drop out and once you know this you’re better placed to alter your content to increase sales conversion!
- I’ve revamped the ‘About Nick’ section to better convey that I set this site up to help showcase what I learn from the experts and share that with others.
- Set up a “Resources page” to show what tools and resources I’m using and my experience with those resources.
- I’ve been chatting with a successful internet marketing consultant who I met at the Instant Profit Seminar in London and he has agreed to do a guest post for my blog… So watch this space as I’ll be bringing that to you shortly so stay tuned folks!
- And most excitingly, under the guidance of Alex Jeffreys and Dean Holland I’ve started research to develop my very own first product! As Alex and Dean keep reminding me that many people try and sell something based on what they THINK people need. If you really want to deliver a product that adds value to a group of people then you really need to research what people need and create your product to fulfil that need!
Why is adding value so important? Because if you just push crap on people then they are not going to keep coming back! Think about what you like for a moment… Would you keep visiting a site if they kept letting you down with inferior products?
Alex and Dean have both built successful online businesses and are now ‘living the dream’ because they consistently provide products that fulfil needs in the market place and this keeps their customers coming back for more! That’s the life force of any good stable business. Repeat customers.
So exciting times are ahead!!! Soon you’ll see my first Guest Blog post and then details on how the research is going for my product. I’m still considering topics for my product so maybe you can help me out by letting me know what you would love to have more information on or things that you have trouble with online….

Hi Nick, thanks for writing about me in your blog post, I am not sure if I should be embarrassed or excited about the post, I think I will take the later (I’m a star someone wrote about me!!). I am not really a stalker, I just admire people who get out there and take action. After reading your blog, I can see that you are a man of action and you should be very proud of yourself for what your have achieved in the last month. I am sure you will continue to achieve all you want with the help of Alex and all the other people that you met at the Seminar.
My only advice is to watch out for the ‘speed humps’ on your way to success, they can be real confidence killers. Sometimes life just gets in the way of doing what you want. If this happens, take each day at a time, each blog post at a time, each product at a time but most of all don’t give up. At the moment I am going through one of those ‘life moments’ but I am not going to give up. Sometimes you have to put up with the pain so you can enjoy the pleasure.
I can’t wait to read your next blog post to find out what your are doing and I am REALLY excited about your product.

Hey Robyn, you should definitely be excited it was definitely a complement to you!
Thanks for your advice and your not the first to warn of these ‘Speed humps’ so I will be keeping a weary eye out for them and then find ways to stay motivated!
It’s really good to hear that you are not going to give up. I talked to so many people at the seminar and it was the people that never gave up that seemed to find success so I’m sure that you will get there. Just keep hanging in for this speed hump!
